Ingrid Barclay

ingrid-barclay
I have been working in the Occupational Health & Safety field for twenty years. I am a registered nurse and have a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety.  As the owner of OH Well Ltd,  I am   committed to raising the quality of service in occupational health by ensuring that OH Well delivers a professional service to our clients, and  assists in improving the health of workers in the workplace.

Mary Sullivan

Following 20 years of nursing at Christchurch Hospital in Orthopaedics and Surgery, I was introduced to Occupational Health Nursing by Ingrid in 2006, with the first 5 years spent travelling around the South Island doing wellness checks for the Volunteer Fire Brigades. It was a privilege getting to know and educate these amazing guys and girls. I get a real buzz knowing I can build rapport and help prevent potential injury or illnesses through education. Currently I work in three regular contracts for OH Well.

Susan Clark

I have been working in the office for seven years as a part time Accounts Administrator. I am the point of contact for any accounts-related queries and am available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, or you can email me on accounts@ohwell.co.nz

Keren Pedlar

I am a Registered General and Obstetric Nurse, with a focus in Occupational Health and Safety. Over the last 20 years I have implemented Health and Safety systems for a local fisheries company, developing a multi-skilled base to ensure the safety of up to 300 people. I have been working at OH Well since March this year and I work in one of their key client’s contracts.

Catherine Komarova

I started working part-time in Occupational Health Nursing under Ingrid’s guidance eight years ago, while also working at Christchurch Hospital in acute general medicine. I particularly enjoy health promotion and seeing the positive results of the health monitoring we do. When individuals are safe and healthy in their place of work, then it can only benefit their personal lives as well.

Penny Clinton

I have been working in the office at OH Well as the Office Coordinator/Reception since March 2015. I have worked in the health-related admin sector for over 25 years and am now enjoying the occupational health service. You can contact me at admin@ohwell.co.nz for any enquiries.

Alison Kerr

I started working part time at OH Well in August 2015 and continued to work in a local acute care facility. I qualified as a nurse in the UK in 2008 and have worked mainly in in emergency departments and acute care since. I moved to NZ in 2014 and through a bazar course of events was taken under Ingrid’s wing. I have had a desire for many years to move into Occupational Health and I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge in this field and developing my role in OH Well.

Deb Batchelor

I grew up in Christchurch and 15 years ago moved south, all the way to Timaru, with my husband and young son. Prior to moving to Timaru I worked in Christchurch Public Hospital’s emergency department and since moving south I have worked within the hospital and the community. I believe I have found my niche working in primary health since 2008, the last two as an Occupational Health Nurse. I feel incredibly privileged to bring my nursing skills and knowledge to the broad spectrum of workers I meet in my job and the variety of workplace settings this role takes me to is phenomenal.

Suzanne Croft

I started my nursing life in Reefton as a District Nurse before moving to Christchurch, raising a family and working part time in aged care.

Previous to OH Well I worked as an Arthritis educator where the focus was on education and self-management which fits very nicely with Occupational Health and Wellness.

Heidi-Anne Hardy

I am nearing the end of my 3rd year of nursing post graduate. I began my career in Ward 17 which is a general surgical ward and also did a secondment with the Occupational Health team at the CDHB for 6 months before returning to Ward 17.

I joined the OH Well team this year and I am enjoying the change of focus to Occupational Health and especially the many people I meet out on sites.

Sue Stevens

I have a background in farming, customer service, ski field industry, superyacht industry, first aid training, front-line ambulance and 20+years as a Registered Nurse in Emergency and Cruise Ships.

I have recently commenced working with OH Well and am completing a Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety. I am very passionate on promoting preventative health and wellbeing to our clients, I love sharing my knowledge with the aim to make sure everyone keeps safe at work and home.
